Samsung launches Galaxy A5, A7 2016 edition smartphones

                             Samsung has expanded its product portfolio with the launch of a two new A series smartphone the Galaxy A5 2016 and the A7 2016 in India. Samsung has priced the A5 2016 at Rs 29,400, and the A7 2016 variant at Rs 33,400 and both the devices will be available on Snapdeal as well as the offline stores from 15th February.

The new Samsung Galaxy A5 and A6 2016 variants flaunt the glass and metal design that the company has previously used in their Galaxy S and Note 5 lineup.

s far as specifications go, the Samsung Galaxy A5 2016 features a 5.2-inch Full HD super AMOLED display with 1080x1920 pixels resolution while the Galaxy A7 2016 is slightly bigger and sports a 5.5-inch screen with the same resolution. Both the handsets are available in gold, white and black colour variants and also feature fingerprint sensors.

The smartphones are powered by an 1.6GHz octa-core Exynos processor paired with 2GB RAM for the A5 and 3 GB for A7. The onboard storage of the devices accounts to 16GB, which can expanded up to 128GB using a microSD card.

he Samsung Galaxy A7 features a 13MP primary camera with LED flash and a 5MP secondary camera for selfies and video calling. The dual-sim smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system (upgradable to Marshmallow 6.0) topped with the EMUI of the company.

On the connectivity front, the smartphones offer 4G, LTE, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS and packs a 3,300mAh battery on the A7 and a 2,900 mAh battery on the A5 2016.
